About

I've been building digital systems for Philippine businesses since 2011.

That's not a marketing claim — it's just the math. Fifteen years, hundreds of clients, and one consistent lesson: most businesses are not failing because they have the wrong website. They're failing because they haven't decided what they want the website to do.

I founded DoodlePress in 2011 as a web design studio. Over the years it became something more specific: a B2B digital agency that helps Philippine businesses build web presence that functions as a sales and trust system — not a brochure.

How DoodlePress started

I started DoodlePress out of frustration with the gap between what Philippine businesses needed digitally and what was available to them at a price and quality that made sense. Most agencies were either too expensive and disconnected from local market realities, or too cheap and producing work that couldn't hold up to scrutiny.

For most of those years, the work was broad and technology-led. We took everything: e-commerce builds, company profiles, government project websites, personal blogs. The focus was on what we could build, not necessarily what the business needed the site to do. It wasn't glamorous, but it was educational. I learned what actually drives decisions for Philippine SMBs and mid-market companies — and it's almost never what they say it is in the initial brief.

By 2024, the focus sharpened. Thirteen years of varied client work made one thing clear: B2B businesses needed web presence that worked as a trust-building system — not a digital business card, not a brochure. That shift changed everything — the clients we took, the work we did, the results we could actually stand behind.

Systems vs. brochures

Here's the framework I keep returning to: every business website is either a brochure or a system.

A brochure announces who you are. A system works for you. A brochure gets launched and then ages slowly. A system gets measured, refined, and improved based on what it learns.

Most Philippine businesses have brochures. They're often beautifully designed. They don't generate leads. They don't build trust systematically. They don't give you data to make better decisions.

This is the gap I've spent fifteen years trying to close — not by selling web design, but by changing how founders think about what a digital presence is actually for.

What this site is

This site is not a portfolio for DoodlePress. It's my personal thinking space — a place to document what I've learned, share frameworks I find useful, and build a record of how I think about the problems I care about.

If you're a founder or agency owner building a B2B business in the Philippines, I hope something here is useful to you.

If you want to work together — advisory or partnership — let's talk.
